New Knoxville Drive-Up: Coming Soon!

We are beginning work to build a new drive-up facility in Knoxville. Prep work for the new building has begun with construction slated to begin in the coming weeks and finishing in summer 2024. The new drive-up will be located on the south side of the existing property, along Highway 14. Once completed, the new drive-up will replace the current facility.

Duplicate ACH files are being reversed. Please continue to monitor your accounts today and tomorrow.

We will continue to commmunicate any other details as they become available.  

 

04/25/2023--ACH TRANSACTION ISSUE

Your account may reflect ACH transactions that you may not have been anticipating today. We have been notified by Shazam that they generated duplicate ACH files from 2015 and 2016 in error. This impacts all Shazam based customers and is not an issue isolated to Marion County Bank.

We have been advised by Shazam that they are working on generating reversals for these ACH transactions.

We apologize for the impact this could have for our customers and will communicate any other details as they become available.

Congratulations to Ruth Kuiper as she celebrates 35 years of working for Marion County Bank, formerly Iowa State Savings Bank. Ruth began her career as a receptionist and moved into an administrative assistant role later where she still serves today. Klint previously worked for Marion County Bank for 8 years before moving to Southern California and working in operations and finance in the construction and logistics industry for the past 10 years. Marion County Bank’s halftime entertainment at the Pella vs. Pella Christian basketball game on Thursday night earned the schools a $5,375.00 donation from Marion County Bank.

He graduated from UNI with an Accounting degree and is currently studying at Mizzou for his Masters of Accounting and Data Analytics. Stimulus Payment Information

On December 29, 2020 the IRS began delivering a second round of Economic Impact Payments (EIP) as part of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021 to the same Americans who received the first payment earlier this year.

The initial direct deposit payments may begin arriving as early as tonight for some and will continue into next week. Paper checks will begin to be mailed Wednesday, December 30.
