Halftime Shoot Out a Slam Dunk

 Marion County Bank’s halftime entertainment at the Pella vs. Pella Christian basketball games earns the schools a $6,275 donation from Marion County Bank.

Students from both schools worked together in the event by shooting layups, free throws, three pointers and half court shots to earn a donation for the schools from Marion County Bank.

Beat the heat this summer with a free movie matinee!  We are delighted to provide a free showing of the movie "Smallfoot" at the Pella Cinema on Wednesday, July 24.  Showtime starts at 1:00pm.  "Smallfoot" is rated PG.  No ticket neccesary; simply show up and enjoy the show!

Over $193,000 donated!

A total of 3,722 Marion County Bank debit cards have earned a $193,891.57 donation from Marion County Bank to local schools over the last 12 years of the Report Card program.  The Report Card empowers debit card customers to support one of 13 local schools.

35 Bags & $730 Donated!

Business members of the Pella Historic Downtown Retail group joined together to raise money and donations for Pella’s Food Shelf through a variety of promotions. Over 35 bags of groceries and $730 in donations were collected and presented to the Pella Community Food Shelf on Monday, October 29.

2018 Senior Scholarships

Since 1977, Marion County Bank has awarded college scholarships to local graduating seniors.  When the Dollars for Scholars program originated, we were glad to merge our program into theirs and become part of their program.  Marion County Bank awards ten $500 scholarships to students of our local high schools.
