Join us in congratulating Jen Van Gorp on 10 years of service with Marion County Bank!
Jen works as a Retail Banker in our Pella office. Steve Kraayenbrink, Ron Zantingh, and Lisa Walters presented Jen with flowers and a gift to recognize her years of service.
"Your positive attitude uplifts all of us," said Steve. "We appreciate your flexibility and willingness to get involved in other areas of the bank." Lisa said Jen's product knowledge is great, but she knows Jen draws energy from connecting with our staff and customers. "As you connect with people you bring more than product knowledge. You bring wisdom, empathy, and humor," said Lisa.
Jen shared that her favorite part of the job is that she gets to meet people at really important times in their lives. Whether it be the addition of a baby, the creation of a new family through marriage, or even in moments of hardship, "being there for our customers during those times is a privilege."
