Marion County Bank’s halftime entertainment at the Pella vs. Pella Christian basketball game on Thursday night earned the schools a $5,375.00 donation from Marion County Bank.

Students from both schools worked together in the event by shooting layups, free throws, three pointers and half court shots to earn a donation from Marion County Bank.

A shootout donation of $5,375 was won Thursday, February 10 at the Pella vs. Pella Christian game and will be combined with the Halftime Shootout winnings earned during the first Pella vs Pella Christian game on Thursday, January 13 at Pella High. All winnings will be split evenly between the high schools and contributed toward their Student Activity fund. Marion County Bank thanks the all the students for participating in the halftime event.

This year’s total between the two games came to $8,725.00 giving each school a donation of $4,362.50.

Since 2007, over $115,000 has been given to Pella Community High and Pella Christian High from Marion County Bank during the halftime events.
