This fall, Brian spent time in the field with longtime customer Jim DeBruin. Their conversation wasn’t just about crops or numbers—it was about connection. Brian prepared lunch in the field and later joined Jim in the combine.
Jim doesn't run the farm by himself though. Jim's son Zach has been involved in the operation the last couple of years, and his wife, Ruth, handles all the marketing.“That’s been a game changer,” Jim said. "She's really good at it."
Jim and his family have banked with Marion County Bank for over 30 years. What keeps them coming back beyond the developed relationships? "When I call the local bank, they have the answers."
