Since 2007, Marion County Bank has offered their Report Card Debit Card Rewards Program as a way to support local schools. This year, the grand total donated to all schools reached $579,575.64. The donation for 2025 totaled $80,273.06.

The final whistle has blown on this year’s Bucks for Baskets events, and what a fun season it’s been! Our last stop was at Pella High School on Friday night, where eight students took center court during halftime of the Tulip City Showdown, raising an impressive $3,325 for their school’s Student Activity Fund.

The energy was high at Tuesday night’s Knoxville vs. Chariton basketball game, and it didn't stop at during halftime. As soon as the half came to a close, Knoxville High School students took center court for Marion County Bank’s Bucks for Baskets, turning their basketball skills into real support for their school.

On Tuesday, January 14, we hosted our first-ever Bucks for Baskets event at Melcher-Dallas. The event was held in the school’s brand-new gym, with an enthusiastic crowd of supporters cheering on the students as they competed to earn money for their school.

Friday night’s basketball game between Pella and Pella Christian wasn’t just about points on the scoreboard or an intense cross-town rivalry—it was about coming together and giving back! During halftime, students from both schools took the court for Bucks for Baskets, an exciting challenge that turned made shots into a bank donation.
