Join us as we celebrate Josh and his 5 years of service at Marion County Bank.

For Josh Nelson, the past five years have represented something bigger than simply another job. They’ve been the beginning of a career that brings together his skills, values, and commitment to community banking.

Josh works across consumer, real estate, and commercial lending, giving him plenty of opportunities to help customers while also stepping into different roles when the bank needs him.

Brett Hamlin, Sr. Vice President, Credit Administration, shared how much he has enjoyed getting to know Josh and appreciates the combination of a great attitude and strong work ethic he brings each day.

Kevin Bolt, Bank President, echoed those thoughts, describing Josh as a great “utility person” for the bank. Whether it’s his lending responsibilities, helping wherever he’s needed, or contributing to the Special Events Committee, Josh has shown a willingness to jump in and be part of the team.

That variety is also part of what has made the past five years meaningful for Josh.

“Being a loan officer at Marion County Bank is the first job in my professional life that hasn’t felt like just a ‘job.’ It’s my career. It brings together different skills I’ve learned over time at a place that aligns with my values. It’s been a quick five years, and I’ve loved the opportunity to be a community banker at an incredible community bank.”

We’re grateful for Josh’s hard work, positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to help customers and coworkers alike.

Congratulations, Josh, on five years of service, and thank you for everything you’ve contributed along the way.

We celebrate with you today.
