Join us as we celebrate Lela and her 5 years of service at Marion County Bank.
For many customers walking into our downtown Knoxville location, Lela McKinney is the first person they see. And there’s a pretty good chance Lela already knows their name.
As our receptionist, Lela has a unique opportunity to create connections from the moment someone walks through the door. It’s a part of the job she especially enjoys:
“I love surprising customers when I greet them by name.”
For Lela, those small moments are a meaningful part of serving customers well.
Retail Manager Shannon Long shared that Lela’s impact goes far beyond the front desk. She praised Lela’s ability to know customers by name, her willingness to jump in wherever needed, and the important work she does behind the scenes. When an extra hand is needed, you may even find Lela helping on the teller line.
Lisa Walters, Executive Vice President, also recognized Lela’s passion for taking care of customers and the importance of everything she contributes, both the work people see and the work they don’t.
That combination of personal service and willingness to help has made Lela someone customers and coworkers alike can count on.
There are plenty of tasks that need to happen during a day at the bank, but Lela’s favorite part is much simpler: making connections with people.
Knowing a name. Offering a warm welcome. Stepping in to help. Taking care of something behind the scenes.
Lela-Those moments add up, and we’re thankful for everything you bring to Marion County Bank and the customers you serve.
We celebrate with you today.
