Every year, the Lake Red Rock Balloonfest fills our skies with color, excitement, and unforgettable views. This year's festival was no exception.
We're grateful to the organizers, volunteers, balloonists, and crews who work tirelessly to make this event possible. Creating an experience like Balloonfest takes an incredible amount of planning and dedication, and it showed throughout the weekend.
For Marion County Bank, the weekend was full of memories. Ryan Vos and Diane Roose took flight Saturday morning, while Jill Freel experienced an evening flight Saturday night. Ryan's family also had the opportunity to help crew, providing a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to get a balloon safely into the air and back on the ground.
A special thank you goes to Al Appenzeller and his crew for sharing their time, expertise, and passion for ballooning. Their hospitality made the experience even more memorable.
We were also proud to support Balloonfest as a sponsor. From helping support the 5K/10K FUNdraiser Run/Walk to sponsoring Al's competition balloon and giving away five tethered hot air balloon rides, it was exciting to see so many people enjoying the event. The tethered rides were incredibly popular, with a line of eager riders waiting for their chance to experience Balloon Fest from above.
Events like Balloonfest do more than create beautiful views. They bring people together, attract visitors to our area, support local organizations, and create memories that last long after the balloons land.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the weekend special.
