Marla, better known has Mrs. Kettler to her hundreds of students, taught second grade at Lincoln Elementary in Pella for 34 years. Retirement called but the life-long learning continued when she started in banking at Marion County Bank. You can find Marla working on the teller line at our main bank.

Marla and her husband Kurt reside in Pella and have two married children and seven beautiful grandchildren.

Danielle will be working with Shirley Mathes, Kathy Arkema and Gina Sietstra in our Loan Processing Department. Danielle and the loan processing team work diligently to keep the loan process running smoothly while juggling compliance, required document gathering and deadlines.

Danielle and her husband Jesse live in Pella with their two little boys – Bently and Ledger.

Financial fraud scams are all too common. The Pella Police Department receives 5-6 reports a week of scams occurring in the area. Unfortunately some of these scams are successful each month and victims send money to the scammers. Education is the first line of prevention. 2017 MCB Scholarship Winners Announced

For 40 years, Marion County Bank has awarded college scholarships to local graduating seniors.  When the Dollars for Scholars program originated, we were glad to merge our program into theirs.  Marion County Bank awards 10 scholarships total to students from each of our local high schools who plan to attend a 4 year college. Preference is given to the applicants whose parent or legal guardian has an account relationship with Marion County Bank.  This year's 2017 scholarship winners are:
