Discounted Pella Bucks Event!

We are excited to once again offer Discounted Pella Bucks on Monday, November 20. This marks our 13th year of underwriting $100,000 at a 10% discount.

We encourage people to get in line early and dress warm. Starting at 5pm, bank staff will be serving hot cider and Dutch treats to those waiting to purchase their Discounted Pella Bucks.

New Knoxville Drive-Up: Coming Soon!

We are beginning work to build a new drive-up facility in Knoxville. Prep work for the new building has begun with construction slated to begin in the coming weeks and finishing in summer 2024. The new drive-up will be located on the south side of the existing property, along Highway 14. Once completed, the new drive-up will replace the current facility.

Coin Circulations Slowdown

Due to COVID-19, there has been less coin coming into banks from businesses and less coin being made by the US Mint. As a result, banks are experiencing a coin circulations slowdown. To help us manage this slowdown, we are offering a free treat to anyone who brings in $25 or more in unrolled coin to be exchanged for bills or deposited into an account.

A total of 3,722 Marion County Bank debit cards have earned a $193,891.57 donation from Marion County Bank to local schools over the last 12 years of the Report Card program.  The Report Card empowers debit card customers to support one of 13 local schools.

Business members of the Pella Historic Downtown Retail group joined together to raise money and donations for Pella’s Food Shelf through a variety of promotions. Over 35 bags of groceries and $730 in donations were collected and presented to the Pella Community Food Shelf on Monday, October 29.
