What does Available Balance mean?

Available balance is the amount of money in your checking or savings account that is available for withdrawal. The available balance includes deposits as well as pending withdrawals posting to an account on that business day. This balance includes funds which may be available from a loan such as a HELOC. Advancement of loan funds will incur interest charges. The available balance does not include checks that you’ve written that have not yet cleared.
